Homestay toiletries in Malaysia are the same guest products a hotel uses, bought in a smaller first order. A five-room homestay does not need a custom label before the first guests arrive. A stock bottle in the shower is enough.
What to put in the bathroom
- Shampoo, shower gel and hand and body lotion in a 30ml bottle. A 40ml or 50ml bottle if guests stay more than two nights.
- A dental kit, for guests who forgot a toothbrush.
- A shower cap and a sewing kit in the drawer, if you want the room to feel finished.
- Slippers only if you already offer them. They are packed separately from the bottles.
That set is the same idea as a hotel bathroom kit. The shampoo and the lotion are ready-stock Muguet. You do not have to reach the 100kg OEM minimum, or the 5,000-unit printed pouch, unless the homestay name must be on the bottle.
When a logo is worth it
Print the name only after the rooms are full often enough to use a large run. Until then, keep one bottle size so a later sticker still fits. A homestay that also manages serviced apartments can use the same bottles in both, and add a 5L refill only when housekeeping is topping up dispensers every day.
